A Care-Giver and Apartment manager get away with Family theft!
A Care-giver robbed my family. She was from Guatamala. She worked for the county of Los Angeles. She was assigned to help my mother who was disabled and 76 years old when she died. She had lived there 17 years (my father died several weeks after they first moved in in 1992.). My mother and father lived in the Los Angeles area since they were born in L.A. they Lived in Inglewood then Hawthorne area since my birth 53 years ago.
My mother who lived in an apartment in The Los Angeles died January 4, 2008. I and my family did not find out about her death until January 20, 2008.
The apartment she lived in was cleaned out.
I had spent much of 2008 in the Veterans hospital fighting for my life. I was unable to pursue this problem until now.
I contacted all many news organizations, newpapers, radio stations to tell my story. Not one of them would answer me.
I also filed a police report when this first all occured. Nothing happened.
I contacted the L.A. Grand Jury, they replied later in a letter, they did not have enough evidence.
I filed in small claims court.
A rpresentative of the aprtment managemnet company came for the apartment and present a handwritten letter that stated my mohter signed over her belongings to the care-giver. She also said she had the power of attorney (that was no good after my mother death.. and was only for helping my mother..) The Apartment managemnet said that she was in HUD Subsidized building (which means she was low income and had help from the county for lower rent..) and social standing should not have had anything to do with aperson in the USA! But the judege allowed this testimony from this scumbag. This dirtbag also went on to say she was only on social security which was a lie, my mother was also on a US Navy pension that was from my father who was a disabled veteran.
The apartment management represntative also said the manager only had the care-giver's name and my brother's name. The apartment manager did not have my name and address, I am the oldest son of two surviving sons.
They dooshbag said that they tried to contact my brother and he had not responded. I told them that the care-giver had taken all the papers home and shredded them.. all bonk records, all personal papers, alll everything, and admitted to all this when I confronted her! She had even said her husband helped her!
The court was in a hurry to get this case over and tell me to go #uck-off! The judge order the case to be ordered to be in the defendant's case and whisked us (myself, my daughter, nephew, and his wife) out of the courtroom!
I saw theives, murderer's and gang memebers get better deals there, while I waited for my case to be called!
This was at a Los Angeles County court in California on January 13, 2009.
I am very sick and the agony this has been causing me is beyond words. While I was awaiting surgery laying in bed, then laying in a hosptial bed for much of 2008, then laying in a hospital bed back at home eating again after being tube fed for many months and learning to walk again, I had to deal this this huge injustice.
My conclusion is the justice system is rotten to the core! My daughter has learned how rotten our justice system is now they she saw it first hand! I hope it gets dismantled.

Subjuect: I am proud to be an American
/When in England , at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was
asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were
just an example of empire building by George Bush.
He answered by saying, 'Over the years, the United States has sent
many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for
freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever
asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.'
You could have heard a pin drop.//
~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~
There was a conference in France where a number of international
engineers were taking part,
including French and American. During a break, one of the French
engineers came back into the room saying 'Have you heard the latest
dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft
carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he
intend to do, bomb them?'/
/
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: 'Our carriers have
three hospitals on board
that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and
can supply emergency
electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias
with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can
produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each
day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting
victims and injured to and
from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does
France have?'
/U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included
Admirals from the U.S. , English, Canadian, Australian and French
Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large
group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries./
/
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a
French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many
languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, 'Why is it that
we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than
speaking French?'/
/
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied 'Maybe it' s because
the Brits, Canadians,
Aussies and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German.'
You could have heard a pin drop.
AND THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE...
Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane.
At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his
carry on./
/
'You have been to France before, monsieur?' the customs officer asked
sarcastically./
/
Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously./
/
'Then you should know enough to have your passport ready.'/
/
The American said, 'The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it./
/'Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival
in France !'/
/
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly
explained, 'Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to
help liberate this country, I couldn't find a
single Frenchmen to show a passport to.'/
BTW, I am grateful for having a cable conection, and Time Warner does respond to problems, not always finding and fixing thye problems does give me a headache though.. I must say They have really given me excellent entertainment.. the reason you ask. Wh would I heap praise on them, but still talk about having problems...?
Well, A while back I won a new 46" LCD HDTV from them in a contest.. From Time Warner Cable.
Imagine being confined to mostly bed-rest being extremely sick, and only having an old crappy 27" regular TV from the stone ages...
seeing these newer LCD HDTV's everywhere for a couple thousand dollars and not being able to afford one.. then winning one! as luck would have it, only a couple weeks after winning it I spent 6 months in a hospitaql bed, fighting for my life.
The TV's there, are 2 15" TV's ceiling mounted, and shared by 4 people (2 people for each TV). The hospital has cable TV but very few channels... then having my brand new 46" HDTV sitting at home while I languished in bed unable to eat food (tube fed). and also on a morphine pump.. I had lost the ability to walk too.
Getting home and being able to watch my favorite TV shows while recovering on the new 46" HDTV really helped me enjoy some entertainment, as if anyone needed entertainment, I did! I also use it for my flight sims more often now, I use an HDMI cable from my computer video card to my 46" HDTV. Adds more fun!
Update 06-28-09 :
Allis wel with my ISP Cable Internet. The tech came over recently and fixed a bad cable out of the box on the street. Apparently a cable was crushed by someone that closed the lid on the cable sometime in the past.
